This one-hour, one-on-one session with our founder, Kristen—our founder, lead designer, dedicated educator and mom of two, is perfect for you if you already have an idea of what you want to do, or even have a project in progress, but you just have a few questions or ideas you want to gather an opinion on.

This session is client-led, so have your questions and visuals (if possible) ready to go and we’ll do our best to provide the insight you need to feel confident about the space you’re curating for daily little adventures.

Additionally, a follow-up email correspondence will accompany this session with a summary of our conversation, as well as any additional answers to session questions that may not have been answered on the call.

This service does not include any renderings, shopping lists or the other tangible products that our other services include.

This three step process is perfect for those who aren’t afraid of a DIY project, but want the expertise and guidance of a play professional. This service can be done with anyone in any location, as this process is completely virtual and takes approximately two weeks for the complete design process.

The first step is to meet with our founder, Kristen, after completing our launch survey to gather important information about your kid(s) and the desired space to be designed. We will determine the scope of the project during this initial meeting.

Next, we will engage in a design exchange. You will provide measurements, pictures, & video utlilizing DLA’s Space Details template. DLA will provide a mood board visual that gives a preview of the aesthetics, play zones, and larger structures that will live in the space, to which, you will be able to provide feedback.

Finally, based on the your Space Details, the provided mood board, as well as your feedback, DLA will create a 3D rendering of the space with all recommendations (to which you can make up to one revision), as well as a clickable purchasing list & a task list. You can then utilize these tools to create the space your family can’t live without!

This multi-step process is our full service option, perfect for those who don’t have the time, or those who just want to leave developmental design to the professionals. This service requires a minimum of 4 weeks to complete, the additional time is dependent on size and scope of the project.

This in-person service still begins virtually by meeting with Kristen, after completing our launch survey to gather important information about your kid(s) and the desired space to be designed.

We will then meet to collect measurements, pictures and videos of the space, as well as to review the mood board & sample textiles of the finished space.

Upon receiving feedback from the initial design meeting, DLA will provide a 3D rendering of the space, while also performing a toy edit to ensure developmentally appropriate toys and activities. With approval of these services, we will then provide a purchasing list & task list.

Finally, we will cover the installation, organization and styling of the space so that the finished product exceeds expectations for both you and your little(s)—leading to endless daily little adventures ;-)

This service is fully customizable with options for DLA to do the purchasing, work with contractors & specialists, etc. to fit your preferences, as well as your budget.
